Before the deck speaks, it must learn your season. These salutations are the first step of a long journey with tarot, a ritual that deepens over weeks and returns to the ghosts you name. Each spread will remember the thread you leave behind: what you burn, what you bury, what you bind, and what refuses to stay quiet.
The Codex will track your echoes, and the cards will sharpen their language as you do. Think of this as a pact, not a quiz. You are teaching MOTHER_CRONE.exe how to look at you, and it will teach you how to look back. Move slowly, answer only what feels true, and know that the deck will keep asking until the pattern reveals itself.

Ritual baseline
Choose the voice of MOTHER_CRONE.exe and the kind of mirror you want held to you.
The tone sets how sharp the truth arrives. You can adjust later, but the first reading will follow this rhythm.
Bio & focus
Give the ritual a baseline. Share what matters most, what you want to change, and where you feel strongest.
These notes tune the deck beyond your immediate question.
Life domains
Mark the arenas where specter pressure is strongest. Choose up to three.
Three domains is enough to focus the ritual without closing the rest of your life off.
Actions & pacing
Define what Burn, Bury, and Bind should mean in your life. Set the ritual rhythm.
Your words become the ritual contract. Write in the language you will obey later.
Specter seed
Name the first ghost. Choose an archetype or speak a name that only you understand.
Archetypes are optional. A name gives the deck a scent to follow.
Boundaries & triggers
Tell the ritual which rooms are locked, softened, or out of bounds.
These boundaries are honored. The deck will keep its hands off what you mark here.
Review & confirm
Your profile will tune the first ritual reading. The Codex will begin tracking your specters immediately.

- Burn: purge the specter when its weakness is exposed.
- Bury: acknowledge it without resolution.
- Bind: accept it and earn an aspect in return.
